Cusco🇵🇪

Living in Cusco offers a unique blend of ancient charm and modern convenience for digital nomads, especially if you're looking for genuine affordability. Rent is quite reasonable, making it an excellent option for stretching your budget, particularly compared to many other nomad hubs. It suits those seeking a slower pace, a deep cultural immersion, and an appreciation for stunning historical surroundings. While the internet is generally reliable enough for remote work, don't expect blazing speeds everywhere; it's decent but not cutting-edge. The infrastructure is developing, but consistent connectivity is usually manageable. The nomad community here is on the smaller side, which means a more intimate, less overwhelming social scene. English proficiency among locals is limited outside of tourist areas, so learning some Spanish is incredibly helpful for daily life. An honest caveat: the altitude can be challenging for some, requiring a few days to adjust before you feel fully energized.
